With the 7 usual digital radio DAB+ programs of the national mux : Rai1, Rai2, Rai3, FD4, FD5, Isoradio, GRParlamento with DLS and SLS services, new digital radio channels with local content and preferrably in the local language, were requested by Debora Serracchiani, President of the autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, during the 16th November RAI presentation. Rai digital radio services will go on air in Friuli Venezia Giulia, using the DAB+ standard. The Friuli Venezia Giulia is the second Italian region after Trentino-Alto Adige, to start testing the new standard, which allows enriching the radio alongside additional content, and avoids interference.
