Digital radio switchover: minister reveals measures to aid broadcasters

Polish Radio Taps Emitel for DAB+ Contract
13.12.2013 - PolandTelecompaper reports that Emitel will transmit digital terrestrial signals for Polish Radio in Warsaw, Katowice and Silesian, beginning in 2014. This agreement would bring DAB+ coverage to 7 million Polish residents, and Polish Radio hopes to increase its coverage to 30 percent of the country’s territory, reaching about 56 percent of the population, by the end of next year.
