Arqiva and Premier sign new D1 agreement

Premier Christian Radio will stay on national digital radio for another 12 years after a new contract was signed with Arqiva. SRG and private radio associations plan marketing campaign for DAB+

BBC national DAB radio reaches 95% population

The BBC has launched a further 20 national DAB transmitters bringing the total number of transmitters to 299 and covering more than 95 percent of the UK population.
This is part of the current phase of their digital radio network expansion plan, bringing a further two million people into the coverage area and increasing coverage from 93 percent to 97 percent by the end of 2015.
LDC pledges public support for Listen2Digital

Listen2Digital, one of the two bidders for the second national commercial digital multiplex, has received the public support of private equity firm LDC.

Minister in talks with the automotive industry on DAB+

Abroad, automakers continue to deliver more of their cars with DAB+ radio as standard. In the United Kingdom and Norway, more than 60% of all new cars come with a standard DAB+ receiver.
