Norway goes fully digital nationally

Italy's South Tyrol begins FM switch off
12.12.2017 - ItalyThe switch to DAB means RAS can now cover 99.5 percent of the population with 22 digital radio programs and only 84 transmitters. “For us, DAB is 19 times more efficient than FM,” said Georg Plattner, RAS general manager.

DAB+ listening figures up in Norway
12.12.2017 - NorwayRadio listening numbers presented today by the Norwegian Media Authority show an overall stable development since September for the national channels. The proportion listening daily to national radio has increased from 61.4% in October to 62.2% in November. This represents a marginal increase of 0.8% last month.
