Norway has turned off its FM radio
13.12.2017 - FranceNorway wrapped up its switch to digital terrestrial radio (RNT) on Wednesday (13 December), becoming the first country in the world to switch off national frequency modulation (FM) broadcasts. The switchover, which began January 11, according to its promoters to improve the quality of sound, increase the number of channels and enrich the features at a cost of dissemination eight times lower.
