Nearly 600,000 DAB+ devices sold in 2017 in Switzerland
17.04.2018 - SwitzerlandAccording to OFCOM's six-monthly surveys conducted by the GfK research institute, electronics stores sold 304,000 DAB+ radios in 2017. 290,000 vehicles were either already equipped of a DAB+ device or have been after their circulation. The number of vehicles equipped with DAB+ car radios in a standard way has risen sharply, from 66% at the end of 2016 to 85% a year later.

South Africa on path to DAB+ radio
16.04.2018 - South AfricaSouth Africa is making new moves to implement digital radio services, after regulator ICASA published a discussion document on the subject, giving the public until early June to comment. "The overall summary of findings indicated the DAB+ trial achieved a large portion of the total scope of the trial. The DAB+ technology proved to be easy to implement, in that it is power and spectrum efficient," ICASA said during a testing phase for DAB+ in November 2013.
