DAB+ a big part of SCA strategy says head of content

DAB+ major focus at ABU DBS 2019

Belarus to launch DAB+ pilot test in April

According to the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of Belarus, a DAB+ pilot test is set to take place in Belarus between this April. The test, which will be carried out by the network operator Giprosvyaz, is set to take place between 1-19 April 2019.

National DAB+ broadcasts in France to start in 2020

The radio stations that were granted a national DAB+ license by the French regulator CSA are set to start broadcasts in early 2020. All of Radio France's national stations have been granted a license, while RTL, RMC and Europe 1 were also selected by the CSA.

Two thirds of Swiss people listen to radio digitally

According to the latest figures published by Ofcom,almost two thirds (64%) of all radio listening in Switzerland takes place on digital platforms (DAB+ or internet). Digital radio listening, which has increased by 15 percent over the last three years, accounts for 33 percent of all radio listening in the country.

DAB+ trials announced in Thailand and Vietnam

A 20 month trial is expected to go on air in and around Bangkok this year, with a total of 11 stations set to take part in the trial.Vietnam is also ready to proceed with a further DAB+ to evaluate coverage parameters and test signal and sound quality in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh. The trial is due to start in April 2019.

What next for DAB+ in Turkey
