The guidelines outline best practice for broadcasters with services on FM and DAB to supply and update brand logos, and guidance to automotive manufacturers for downloading and display of these logos. Based on open standards, the guidelines aim to provide clarity and certainty to help deliver the best radio experience to drivers.

DAB+ in Europe: "Every radio sold in the EU should guarantee digital reception"

The European Broadcast Union (EBU), the European Digital Radio Alliance (EDRA) and WorldDAB issued a joint statement on interoperability of digital radio on Monday, 5 February. The three parties are working to ensure that all future radio models sold in the EU have an interface to DAB+. A corresponding directive is to be enshrined in a single Code for Broadcasting in the European Union (European Electronic Communications Code).
