Already 98 radio stations broadcast on DAB+ digital radio in France
01.10.2014 - FranceAccording to SIRTI (Syndicat Interprofessionnel des Radios et Télévisions Indépendantes): "100 days after the official launch of DAB+ digital radio in France, 98 radio stations are already on air in Paris, Marseille and Nice". There are now 46 programmes in Paris, 31 in Marseille and 21 in Nice. SIRTI calls for a national rollout of DAB+ across France.

V-Traffic and Continental demonstrate the benefits of in-car digital radio in France

France: Government Quiet on Digital

Hong Kong DAB licensees get EPG grace

Ireland's RTE Pushes Radio 1 Listeners to DAB and FM
27.09.2014 - IrelandDUBLIN—Ireland’s public service broadcaster RTE will terminate the long-wave transmissions of Radio 1, heard on 252 KHz, at the end of October. The 2% of Radio 1 listeners that use the long-wave service are being encouraged to tune in to the service on DAB or FM.
