UK: digital radio heard by 57 percent of population
23.05.2016 - United KingdomRajar reports the total number of adults who claim to own a DAB radio, is up 14 percent year-on-year. According to the report, DAB leads in the total digital listening hours, with an estimated 310 million hours on a weekly basis. DAB also leads in the share of all digital radio listening, comprising 30.9 percent of the total 44.1 percent of listening done through a digital platform; DTV earned 5.4 percent, while 7.8 percent listened online or through an app.

DAB+ coming to London with Switchdigital

UK digital radio: home listening now exceeds analogue radio

For the first time, digital listening in home increased to over 50%, with 51.5% of all radio listening done in home (to digital sources) now exceeding that of analog radio (48.5%).

BBC Radio Cymru to trial pop-up DAB station
