Radio Norwegian Pop, a new national DAB+ channel will be heard across Norway from Friday 16 December. Editor in chief of Bauer Media, Lasse Kokvik says "the station is a declaration of love to all Norwegian pop artists and all those who love to listen to Norwegian pop music."

Canberra is expected to receive a permanent digital radio service for the first time in 2017. DAB+, offers better sound than AM/FM analogue services and allows for extra stations, images and live text.
