Under the motto "As clear as if I were there", the ARD are to start a nationwide marketing campaign for DAB+, in partnership with Deutschlandradio, on 2nd May 2017. The campaign focuses on the listening experience of radio, showing typical listening situations and the joy of listening to the radio.

The latest official figures from Rajar, show an increase of nearly half a million radio listeners in the past year. The Private Members’ Small-Scale DAB Bill received Royal Assent to pass into law as an Act of Parliament this week. It will provide the means for a huge expansion of local and community stations on DAB, marking an historic day for UK radio.
