Automotive industry embraces DAB+ radio

29.06.2017 - Germany24 radio stations have applied for the DAB+ capacity in Berlin and Brandenburg, marketed by the Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg (mabb). "I am delighted about the abundance of applications and the commitment to DAB+ in the region," says mabb Director Dr. Anja Zimmer.

20 percent of Bavaria have a DAB+ radio

24 applications for DAB+ capacities in Berlin and Brandenburg
29.06.2017 - Germany24 radio broadcasters have applied for the DAB+ capacities in Berlin and Brandenburg, which have been marketed by the Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg (mabb). Of the applicants, 15 are also interested in DAB+ broadcasting in Brandenburg, beyond the Berlin metropolitan area. The media council will now deal with the applications received.

BBC Radio 1 to launch pop up station with 50th birthday
29.06.2017 - British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) WorldDAB Member - United KingdomRadio 1 will launch a pop-up sister station later this year as part of its 50th birthday celebrations. Radio 1 Vintage will broadcast on DAB and iPlayer for three days from 30 September.
