The arrival of digital terrestrial radio (RNT) in France has been hampered for years by the reluctance of Radio France and large private groups. The Superior council of audio-visual (CSA) announces a surprise acceleration of the calendar which could change things.

French independent radio body, SIRTI, convinced that the DAB+ is the only alternative to maintain a dynamic radio ecosystem as demonstrated outside of France, also invites the public service and the national commercial radios to join the regulator voluntary deployment timetable.

The Scottish Sun Christmas Radio starts broadcasting to Central Scotland on DAB from November 17th. And appearing on DAB in Liverpool and Surrey will be Christmas FM.

Radio JND can again be received via DAB + throughout Limburg and North Brabant. Since Thursday evening the regional commercial channel can be received again on the DAB + network of Southwest Netherlands on channel 7A.
