On Friday, December 8, the nationwide commercial channels and seven local radio stations will end their FM broadcasts in Oslo, Østfold, Vestfold and Akershus.

London isn't short of radio stations. With a DAB radio, there are about 120 to choose from. As a result of DAB having a different coverage area and vastly increased choice, those expensive FM licences are slowly beginning to lose their value.

The broadcaster South Tyrol RAS has expanded the broadcast network for digital radio DAB+ nationwide. Throughout South Tyrol, 22 digital radio programs can be received in excellent quality via DAB+.
