The Spectrum DAB, combines FM and DAB functionality with Bluetooth support and a 3.5mm input for connecting portable music sources.

For the first time in Australia, the Kona is available with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with satellite navigation (below), also incorporating Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with DAB+ digital radio.

From the base S up, all Cerato models feature AEB with forward collision warning, an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, DAB+ digital radio, lane-keep assist, front and rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera with dynamic guidelines, tyre pressure monitoring, and six airbags.

A new small-scale digital radio multiplex is set to launch in Cork this August for a trial period of 12 months. Under a licence from ComReg, the experiment will be operated by éirdab and have the facility to provide around 20 radio stations.

German company, the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, has upgraded its DAB+ software library to enhance the reception sensitivity of radio receivers. The company says this extends the range of coverage for broadcasters and increases the number of channels that can be received in vehicles.

The Teufel Radio 3sixty has just three start channels, namely FM, DAB+ and internet radio. Five favorite FM, DAB and Internet radio stations or Spotify playlists can be stored.

The Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS say it is now offering an update to its DAB+ software library that will improve in-vehicle reception, make more stations available and add Emergency Warning Functionality.
