Russia to allocate bandwidth for broadcast digital radio
06.10.2018 - Russian FederationDAB+ will receive band allocations for digital radio broadcasting in Russia, after the decision by the country’s State Commission for Radio Frequencies (SCRF) to allocate also frequencies to DRM. SCRF has confirmed that individual broadcasters will ultimately decide which digital radio standard to use based on the suitability for their regions.

Voice control makes driving safer, let's make sure our fleets have them
05.10.2018 - Radioplayer WorldDAB Member - Digital Radio UK - United KingdomResearch conducted by Digital Radio UK and Radioplayer has revealed that voice control devices keep driver's eyes on the road, whilst allowing them to get to the stations they want to listen to faster than if they were using a regular touch-based device. Nine drivers were tested on a designed test track and asked to tune to a national and local station on a traditional ‘touch-based’ radio screen, then tune to the same stations using voice control, and then explore more advanced radio features using voice control.
