Through presentations and case studies, participants will discover how broadcasters are informing their listeners about new DAB+ stations on air, DAB+ signal coverage, and how to find DAB+ in their car and at home. They’ll also gain insight into recent changes in consumer buying patterns for digital radio devices.

From 23 November to 6 December, ARD, Deutschlandradio, private broadcasters, manufacturers and other members of the Digitalradio Deutschland organisation will be promoting the DAB+ digital radio standard. The campaign will include TV and radio spots, print advertising, social media activities and employee training in around 1700 stores.

Now available in French, WorldDAB’s latest market report reveals that by the end of Q2 2020, over 93 million consumer and automotive DAB/DAB+ receivers had been sold in Europe and Asia Pacific – up from 82 million one year earlier.

The series will have topics and speakers tailored to the specific needs and interests of broadcasters in the Asia-Pacific region.

The French regulator has published the list of candidates applying for the last available spot on France's multiplex, launching in July 2021. NRJ and Skyrock feature amongst the eight applicants.

In France, over 3.4 million DAB+ receivers have been sold to date - including automotive and and consumer receivers - one million more than the same time last year.
