From Monday 11 June till Friday 15 June, DAB+ will be in the spotlight at various radio stations during the 'Week of Digital Radio'. The week is an initiative of Digital Radio NL, the joint venture of public and commercial radio stations, for the promotion of digital radio over the air in the Netherlands.

50 radio stations in France will begin broadcasting in DAB+ on 19 June, and will be marked by a launch event in Lille. The event will also mark the implementation of a new calendar that will schedule DAB+ services to launch Lyon, Strasbourg, Rouen, Le Havre, Nantes, Bordeaux, and Toulouse.

With the launch of digitalradiogeraete.de, a new website is available which presents a comprehensive overview of available DAB+ radios. Under "All DAB+ Radios" users can use the filters to select digital radios by category, equipment and manufacturer. The initiator of the website is Sylke Will. The PR manager has been promoting the new DAB+ reception standard since 2011.

Installation of DAB+ radio has been completed in 27 tunnels in northeastern Switzerland.
