What are the latest changes and additions this month on UK's DAB digital radio.

Together with its Swiss partner Teletrend AG, Factum has enabled new opportunities for the broadcaster to take a unique position in the Digital Radio market. After delivery and installation of four new multiplexing systems the market now could look forward to a secure operation and new possibilities of control and surveillance. Moreover, the new Factum system is using 90 % less power consumption and is in line with the Digital Radio clients’ environmental ambitions.

Lyca Media's newly acquired stations, Radio 1458AM and Radio 1035AM have launched today on digital radio (DAB).

The broadcaster worked with magnetic North to create the service – 'Radio 2 Eurovision' - which will run alongside output from BBC Radio 2, BBC One and BBC Three. The service went live today (8 May) and listeners can access it on DAB digital radio, online and mobile.
