Radioinfo Australia announces acquisition of Asia Radio Today
01.12.2014 - AustraliaAsia’s radio industry website Asia Radio Today has been sold to leading Australian radio industry publisher radioinfo.
Radioinfo plans to expand the services offered by Asia Radio Today, offering advertisers and musicians a means to easily reach radio stations across the whole region with their products, technical services and new release music.

Somerset community station to launch on DAB digital radio
28.11.2014 - United KingdomCommunity radio station will become the sixth station to be made available to listeners of local DAB in Somerset.
Ofcom has approved the addition of Pulse Radio, which until now has provided a service for Cheddar and surrounding villages around the foot of the Mendips on FM and online. The approval is valid from 1st December.

ARD reiterates intention to develop digital radio in a consistent manner

From the perspective of the ARD network of regional broadcasters, digital radio is a relevant distribution platform with high added value for listeners. Digital radio makes waves with IPTV boost

New transmitters launched
26.11.2014 - United KingdomToday (Wednesday 26 November) further transmitters for the Now Digital Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire multiplex were launched.
The addition of Chepping Wycombe and Hemel Hempstead to the four existing transmitters will significantly improve the coverage of the local multiplex in High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Amersham, Hemel Hempstead, Watford, Kings Langley, Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted, along with sections of the M25 and M40 motorways.
