Arqiva and Premier sign new D1 agreement

SRG and private radio associations plan marketing campaign for DAB+
18.03.2015 - SwitzerlandRepresentatives of the SRG and the private radio stations on Wednesday signed an agreement which defines the transition from analogue to digital. In the paper, the arrangements regarding finances, organisation, responsibilities and marketing will be regulated.

BBC national DAB radio reaches 95% population
18.03.2015 - United KingdomThe BBC has launched a further 20 national DAB transmitters bringing the total number of transmitters to 299 and covering more than 95 percent of the UK population.
This is part of the current phase of their digital radio network expansion plan, bringing a further two million people into the coverage area and increasing coverage from 93 percent to 97 percent by the end of 2015.
LDC pledges public support for Listen2Digital

In the same session, Les Sabel talked about the opportunities to monetise digital radio transmissions, using a combination of IP and broadcast technologies.
