The Conseil supérieur de l'audiovisuel (CSA) has announced the 18 radio groups that have been granted a national DAB+ broadcasting licence. These include all major commercial radio groups as well as a number of smaller independent radio stations.

As announced by the French Minister of Culture Franck Riester, all six of Radio France's radio stations - France Inter, Franceinfo, France Culture, France Musique, Fip and Mouv’ - will be available on DAB+. According to the Minister, this will provide listeners with more content, as well as improving overall sound quality.
