IZT makes functionality of the IZT DAB ContentServer directly available on the IZT S1000 signal generator. In consequence, it becomes even easier to generate DAB test sequences and to test DAB receivers in real-time with the IZT S1000.

SIRTI welcomed the announcement from the CSA on their new public consultation on the deployment of Digital Terrestrial Radio in France. "These new areas...will allow us to cross the threshold of 20% of the population covered by RNT, which will ensure the rapid spread of RNT in France."

Deutschland radio and network operator Media Broadcast have announced a expansion of their digital radio network which will start this year. The network is planned to be expanded from 61 transmitter sites to 82.

The station will launch on 27th June 2015, and will be available across the Greater London area, reaching a potential 11.7 million listeners. This month, French regulator CSA will launch a public consultation into the deployment of DAB+ in the metropolitan areas of France.
