At IBC2018, German technology company IZT (Hall 8, Stand A68) will present the IZT DAB/DRM ContentServer, which incorporates the functionalities of a DAB head-end in one device, including audio encoding, data service handling and multiplexing as well as all configuration and monitoring capabilities. The IZT DAB Archive will also be on display - a solution for quality control and long-term archiving of DAB multiplexes. The system includes functionality to record and analyse the EDI/ETI signal being delivered to the DAB transmitter network.

Available in three trim levels – Explore, Excite and Exclusive – with every version coming with Bluetooth as standard. Excite and Exclusive also get an eight-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and a DAB radio, while the top-spec model gains a reversing camera.

All models come with Bluetooth as standard, while the Excite and Exclusive specs get an 8in colour touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, DAB radio and steering wheel audio controls.

The Spectrum DAB, combines FM and DAB functionality with Bluetooth support and a 3.5mm input for connecting portable music sources.

For the first time in Australia, the Kona is available with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with satellite navigation (below), also incorporating Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with DAB+ digital radio.

The car gets a bold new look, a roomier interior and a host of technology. In addition, its interior appears plusher, thanks to the use of higher-quality materials, and gains a new infotainment system with a 7.0in or an 8.0in touchscreen. This includes a DAB radio, sat-nav and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring.
