BMW announced DAB as standard
30.11.2012 - United KingdomBMW UK announced today that all new BMW models launched in the UK will have DAB digital radios fitted as standard across the entire range from January 2013. Currently BMW provides digital radio as an option on new models and as standard in some high-end models, including the 7 Series. This follows the decision of the BMW Group to fit new Minis with digital radio as standard from September 2010.

INFO-TV-OPERATOR is going to conduct DAB+ trial
30.11.2012 - PolandINFO-TV-OPERATOR, the company from the NFI Magna Polonia Capital Group, has agreed the terms for trial emission
in DAB+ with the main Polish national broadcaster – Polish Radio. The kick-off of service will allow listeners to receive the high quality digital radio streams from the Polish Radio bucket, as well as utilize the wide range of additional
features. The trial starts before the end of the year and will last at least 3 months.

DAB in France
30.11.2012 - FranceOne French resident in three has access to only a dozen radio stations on modulated frequency. This inequality between regions can’t last. The CSA is to give the green light to the launch of DAB in the Ile-de-France (Greater Paris) region, Marseille and Nice by the end of the year. As far as other areas are concerned, we will have to wait for the results of the studies the government has just ordered.
