MBT webinar - what is the future of terrestrial broadcasting

The MBT association has announced the launch of an international webinar addressing the future of terrestrial broadcasting. Held on 19 May 2021, the live webinar - which will comprise of two sessions - is free to attend.

The main topic of the second session is digital radio, how to run a successful DAB+ project from the business perspective of the network operator as well as from the perspective of the radio broadcaster.

The aim is to share experience and know-how on commercial deployment of DAB+ among the broadcast network operators from the region and invited speakers and experts.

Panellists will also discuss the future of DAB+ radio in their countries, the future of terrestrial radio in general and possible strategies and plans to switch-off analogue broadcasting (FM, AM).

You will hear from WorldDAB, the European Broadcasting Union and Broadcast Networks Europe.
