UK Digital Radio: In-vehicle Receiver Technical Trial

In conjunction with Digital Radio UK, broadcasters and service providers have launched a trial to test the implementation of service following and traffic announcements on UK roads.

This project is running until 15 June 2012 and provides manufacturers and vehicle manufacturers with a trial route to test the implementation of these two functionalities, both of which are included within the UK’s minimum specification.

As part of the UK Digital Radio Switchover process, this specification will sit behind the proposed Digital Radio Switchover Certification Mark. This trial is open to all WorldDMB members.
