New range of DAB radio stations in Southern Switzerland

The Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) has now decided on the range of radio stations to be offered on DAB channel 12A in Southern Switzerland. All three SBC channels of RSI (Radio Svizzera Italiana) will be available on DAB, as well as Radio Rumantsch, the Rhaeto-Romanic channel offered by the SBC. Apart from the folklore radio MW 531 and the French-spoken chanson radio station Option Musique, the three music-only channels offered by Swiss Satellite Radio (Radio Swiss Classic, Radio Swiss Jazz and Radio Swiss Pop) will be included in the range of DAB radios in Southern Switzerland. The SBC plans to start fitting out the Ticino for DAB by the end of 2005.
