Give us a brief introduction to your organisation and the role it plays in the radio sector

Established in 1969, Nautel is the leading provider for AM and FM transmitters with over 20,000 customers in 177 countries. All Nautel transmitters are digital and support digital modulation.
In addition, Nautel manufactures complete DAB head end systems under the DIGIDIA brand. DIGIDIA DAB products include encoders, multiplexers, monitoring and DAB tunnel break-in products.

What DAB+ products or services are you showcasing at IBC2024?

At IBC, Nautel will show a DIGIDIA FlexiDAB multiplexer with EDI and RF output as a compact all-in one box solution. The FlexiDAB is a scalable DAB multi-multiplexing and multi-encoding on a versatile, 100% IP-based platform, deployable on a server/PC, VM, or the Cloud. This product line features smart redundancy for audio inputs and EDI outputs at the subchannel level, supports various audio over IP inputs including AES67, and offers Program Associated Data over IP.

What are you most looking forward to at IBC2024?

IBC is the first big social event after the summer holidays and a perfect place for visibility in Europe, and for keeping up do date with the latest innovations.

What’s your best tip for a first-time visitor to IBC and/or Amsterdam?

Do not miss the accelerator zone in Hall 3! And every year you can discover new things in Amsterdam.
