Give us a brief introduction to your organisation and the role it plays in the radio sector
AVT is a leading manufacturer of professional audio products for radio and television broadcasters. The company specialises in the development and production of digital audio transmission technology, which includes Audio Codecs, Telephone Hybrids and DAB/DAB+ equipment.
What DAB+ products or services are you showcasing at IBC2024?
AVT presents a complete DAB headend, from Audio Encoder, Switch and Converter to Multiplexers, as well as a Tunnel Break-In Rebroadcast System.
Of course, we also showcase our new MAGIC DABMUX plus Monitoring Decoder, which enables the DAB broadcast signal to be monitored at any location in the EDI distribution network.
What are you most looking forward to at IBC2024?
IBC offers the unique opportunity to meet business partners, customers and friends in person and to exchange ideas directly. In addition to inspiring conversations and discussing projects, there is also plenty of opportunity for personal dialogue.
What’s your best tip for a first-time visitor to IBC and/or Amsterdam?
Plan your visit in advance and get an overview of who can be found in which hall. If you would like to meet certain people, arrange fixed dates in advance if possible. And don't forget to grab a beer in the late afternoon and chat to other visitors and exhibitors.
