First 'local' DAB+ mux in Lombardy switched on

MediaDab is the first DAB+ mux composed by, local and native digital broadcasters, activated on July 29, 2021 for the service area (5) with broadcasting for the provinces of Milan, Lodi and Monza della Brianza

Vincenzo Dolce, CEO, MediaDab (mediadab.eu), said: the launch of the digital radio network in Lombardy, also for local radio stations, is great news for listeners who for the first time can listen on DAB+ also some important local radio stations in Milan and other provinces of Lombardy. This is a great time for Lombardy residents to buy a new digital radio to use at home or in the car.

The DAB+ mux transmits on channel 7C from RaiWay's technological site in Milan at Corso Sempione 27. The radio stations currently present are: Stereocittà, Radio Café, Radio 60/70/80, Radio Canale Italia, Giornale Radio, Miami Vice, Playtag, Radio Cuore, Radio Energy +, Radio Gamma, Radio Gold Pavia, Radio JukeBox, Radio K55, Radio Reporter, Radio Ultima Ora, Radio Studio Più, Radio System. Other important radio stations will be added soon
