Nationwide Introduction of Digital Radio in Germany on Track

[Saarbrücken] Representatives of the commercial radio broadcasters, i.e. the applicants for the nationwide multiplex, as well as those of Media Broadcast and the state media authorities, have jointly urged KEF to release the means set aside for the digitization of radio. Substantiating their claim they emphasize planning reliability is vital for them in view of major preliminary investments. This request was announced after a meeting with Deutschlandfunk and ARD in Frankfurt.
