Radio Asia 2015 Conference will be held from 28 to 30 May, 2015, in Yangon, Myanmar and WorldDMB is joint sponsor of this event with Commercial Radio Australia. 

The theme of this year's event is "The Creative Power of Radio" and will explore the major aspects of the creative power of radio and how these will enhance the importance and efficiency of the radio in the years to come.

The pace of change in digital radio is accelerating. For listeners, DAB+ offers greater choice, clearer sound and additional data; for society, DAB+ allows radio to remain available anywhere, anytime and free to air, and for the broadcaster significantly lower transmission costs.   As a growing number of countries adopt DAB/DAB+, our aim is to ensure that listeners can enjoy the full benefits of free-to-air digital radio on any audio device.  Hybrid solutions, combining broadcast and IP, will play a key role in this future.  With the growing momentum towards the rollout of DAB/DAB+ digital radio across the Asia Pacific, and as many radio device, automotive and mobile phone manufacturers are targeting pan-Asian markets, greater progress can be made with commitment to a harmonised digital future for radio.

The event will comprise of a two and a half-day conference and four workshops, which will be offered to members and industry partners.
