The second Connected Cars firmly secured the event's place in the market, as the only forum to unite the car manufacturing and connectivity worlds. Recognising how the digital revolution can rejuvenate the car industry, discussion led by industry commentators such as the Financial Times filled the room as car makers including Bentley, BMW, Hyundai, SEAT and Nissan spoke frankly about their upcoming and long term hopes and plans for the connected car market. 

Advancing discussion further in 2015, Connected Cars returns to the Amsterdam RAI for the third year to explore further pertinent issues including the monetisation models for both car makers and mobile network operators, the opportunities born from data analytics for insurers, how the car manufacturer's platforms stand against those of internet giants Apple and Google, and how exactly these in-car connectivity services will be paid for by the customer!
