Media Summit on Climate Change, ICTs and Disaster Risk Reduction, Jakarta, Indonesia

The 1st ABU Media Summit on Climate Change takes place from 4-6 June 2014 in Jakarta, Indonesia.  

This two day event discusses the role of the media in raising public awareness of the effects of climate change and explore ways in which efforts can be made to mitigate them as well as the role of the media before, during and after disasters in emergency warnings and relief efforts.  

Kathryn Brown, Head of Strategic Development, Commercial Radio Australia and active member of the WorldDMB Asia Pacific Committee will give a presentation on DAB+ and Emergency Warning Systems.  She will also be available for meetings with industry stakeholders from across the region.
