The CSA has published impact studies for 13 regions in France that will introduce DAB+ this summer. The study shows that introducing DAB+ will satisfy the plurality of programming required by law. Responses to the CSA's findings can be made no later than 27 June.

The new Boomster also brings digital radio stations via DAB + to the fore. For each type of reception, four favorite stations can be stored and recalled directly via touch buttons.

Also new is the standard inclusion of Ford's Sync 3 infotainment system across the range, revolving around an 8.0-inch touchscreen complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with DAB+ digital radio.

Additional features include keyless entry with push-button start, nine-speaker Bose audio system, traffic sign recognition, and a 7.0-inch MZD Connect infotainment system with satellite navigation and DAB+ digital radio.

For safety and comfort reasons, all the tunnels of Swiss national roads will be upgraded to receive DAB+ digital radio. In all 27 motorway tunnels in northeastern Switzerland, the expansion is completed through the cantons of Zurich, Schaffhausen, Thurgau, St. Gallen and Glarus as well as in the canton of Schwyz along Lake Zurich.

The Essential is expected to become the effective entry-level model: it includes 16-inch alloy wheels, body-coloured bumpers, DAB radio, Bluetooth and air conditioning.

In a statement to Austria's Federal Chancellery, the Association of Private Broadcasters have stated it "should actively support new broadcasting technologies and platforms - eg DAB+, Radioplayer.at" as part of the country's future media landscape.​

Switzerland's Digital Migration working group (DigiMig) has called for the country to switch off FM services from 2021, with completion a year later, as a result of ongoing growth in digital radio services. The working group states that current DAB+ service gaps will be eliminated by 2021, with a new national timetable for switchover to be published in 2019.

39 radio stations will start broadcasting in DAB+ in Lille, which includes 27 that are not broadcast currently on FM. The CSA has also planned to launch calls for applications for two national multiplexes which will be able to accommodate up to 26 additional radio stations.

In Switzerland, it is expected that in the autumn of 2019 a decision will be taken whether FM will go off completely in 2021, according to radio.nl. The original plan was that this would take place in phases between 2020 and 2024.
