The latest research by WorldDMB has revealed the growth of DAB digital radio adoption internationally and shows the commitment by the automotive and broadcasting industries to provide better in-car listening.

Sound Digital Ltd has taken the opportunity of follow-up comments to confirm its commitment to providing a second national DAB multiplex in a six page document published today.

The Korean car maker has also updated and improved the 7-inch infotainment system that’s said to have better functionality plus a new DAB radio. The standard system has also been improved and there’s now a TFT LCD dashboard display.

Transmission expert Les Sabel told broadcast managers and engineers that staying in analog transmission is a “dead end.” Sabel, a technical consultant for World DMB, was speaking at a workshop on Digital Radio in the lead up to the official opening of the Digital Broadcasting Summit, in Kuala Lumpur tomorrow.

P4 is already Denmark's most listened to radio channel, but the channel could only be heard on FM and on the internet. From today, you can now listen on DAB+.
